They will be posted to the blog.<\/p>\n<p>December meeting will be cancelled. \u00a0Board will resume meetings in January. \u00a0Meeting date needs to be changed for January 2018. \u00a0Possible date is January 11th, second Thursday. \u00a0Date will be confirmed in the near future.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Spring program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will be April 20th at Muhlenberg College<\/li>\n<li>Cheryl Middleton ACRL President is the confirmed keynote speaker<\/li>\n<li>Spring program ideas &#8211; social media strategy, how to put together a good elevator speech, connections across campus. \u00a0The board discussed inviting speakers from outside of the library to present. \u00a0Or have presentations from partnerships across campus &#8211; for example the library and IT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fall Program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jess has made final update to the program document. \u00a0The lightning rounds will be held in the order they are listed on the program.<\/li>\n<li>Panelists will receive a $100 honorarium<\/li>\n<li>Penny has confirmed with the group the order for the lightning round<\/li>\n<li>Catering is set<\/li>\n<li>Nancy will run the business meeting. \u00a0We have registered 20 new members through the fall program registration.<\/li>\n<li>Fall program registrations are sold out as of 11\/10\/17. \u00a02 folks on the waitlist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Resume reviewing will be offered for graduating MLS students. \u00a0Reviews will be conducted virtually in March 2018. \u00a0Reviewers need to be assigned (3 people will review 1 resume). \u00a0This is a good opportunity for graduating students to get advice and insight regarding their resume.<\/p>\n<p>This spring the board will work on recruiting from members a committee to start planning the fall 2018 program. \u00a0This will free up the board to pursue other activities during the fall.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>11\/10\/2017 ACRL DVC Board Meeting Minutes In attendance:\u00a0 Nancy Bellafante, Jessica Brangiel, Jess Denke, Penny Lochner, Ellie Goldberg, Sarah Wingo October meeting minutes were approved.
