National Library Legislative Day is a two-day advocacy event (May 7-8, 2018) that brings hundreds of librarians, trustees, library supporters and patrons to Washington, D.C. to meet with their members of Congress and to rally support for library issues and policies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interested in attending this event? ACRL\/DVC offers a stipend up to <\/span>$700<\/span> to cover expenses (registration, travel, and lodging). <\/span><\/p>\n

How to Apply:<\/h5>\n

You may apply as an individual or as a pair if you and a colleague would like to split the stipend.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to apply, please prepare a brief 350 word statement on why you would like to attend. If you are applying as a pair only one statement is necessary, but you must list both applicants\u2019 names and contact information at the top of your statement.<\/span><\/p>\n
