Carol Howe, Megan Donnelly, Adam Mizelle, Nancy Bellafante, Elise Ferer.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review and approval of August meeting minutes &#8211; post to the blog after meeting<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next board meeting October 17th 12:00-1:30 PM &#8211; last meeting before Fall Program &#8211; communications and outreach ahead of fall program. \u00a0\u00a0Volunteers please. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Financial Report &#8211; renewal of wild apricot, 15% discount if we renew for 2 years. \u00a0Adam would like to go ahead while we have the money in the bank. Will be using this tool for Fall program registration. \u00a0Adam waiting to hear from one final travel grant recipient. Is it possible to donate through wild apricot &#8211; Adam to follow up. \u00a0\u00a0We have on our website option to donate &#8211; may be generic not specific to cover membership fees. Would like to provide registration for fall program for folks who may have need. \u00a0Scholarship fund. Remind through wild apricot to pay membership dues. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will go ahead and pay for 2 years of Wild Apricot. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">P.O. Box and forwarding of mail will help continued nonprofit status <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Change address with bank &#8211; name at TD bank includes Ellie\u2019s name and workplace address. \u00a0\u00a0Adam needs some kind of foundational paperwork to bring into the bank to change this. 503c paperwork &#8211; forthcoming. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where to establish, how often to check, need a central location. \u00a0Assigned member based on location? Who is closest geographically. \u00a0Can forward to another po box if necessary. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Motion to establish a permanent address &#8211; motion passes to establish in Philadelphia, \u00a0Written into past president\u2019s role to assign responsibility of the mail forwarding to new treasurer. \u00a0\u00a0Nancy can set this up in Philadelphia area. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Motion to change responsibilities of treasurer and past president to include: <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Filing 990<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keeping address up-to-date<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Update website<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mentorship Program \u00a0&#8211; programs done last fall. \u00a0Stefani looking at redesigning program a bit &#8211; what are goals, \u00a0\u00a0Long term and short term &#8211; volunteers to take on one off projects, single conversation. \u00a0\u00a0Middle career folks. Box for what people what to mentor on. Getting tenure for example or transitioning into administration. \u00a0\u00a0Add more options to the form. No current mentees. Can we volunteer mentees. Stefanie to write blog post, share with the board. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student Stipend<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is the prompt? &#8211; last year related to fall program topic. \u00a0Student stipend is $1000. How have students incorporated activism into their work or at their institution. \u00a0\u00a0What work in this area would they like to do? Present certificate at fall program. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outreach &#8211; to library schools specifically, Rutgers, Drexel,Clarion. \u00a0\u00a0Blog posts to mentors to forward to mentees. Stefani to follow up further. \u00a0\u00a0Can reference last year\u2019s blog post as well. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fall Program<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Including fundraising in registration, also opportunity to request waiver of registration fee<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have 4 panetists and moderator confirmed. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 hour for unconference at end of meeting. \u00a0Presenters will hosts conversations at tables. \u00a0\u00a0Also will collect ideas from attendees on their way into the program. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decided not to pursue social event afterwards. \u00a0\u00a0Lots of time to talk during the day.
